What’s included
The historic estate, including its traditional olive press, wine cellar and two working chapels — Orthodox and Catholic — is a listed property and offers an authentic, romantic setting for an unforgettable wedding.
The restored manor house retains its original character and contents, while the romantic master bedroom, complete with an antique iron bed and lace curtains, provides a truly magical honeymoon suite.
Ideal for weddings of 50–100 guests, Kambones offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, including four distinct outdoor areas, the main manor house and the atmospheric old olive press. Catholic ceremonies can be held in the Catholic Chapel of Our Lady. Orthodox weddings can take place in the Orthodox Chapel of St Anthony. This venue is very unusual for having these two chapels side by side!
Music can be tailored to your day, with the resident classical guitarist — a Master's graduate of the Mozarteum University of Salzburg — able to perform alongside other musicians with a repertoire of classical and Greek music.
Kambones is also committed to sustainability and is certified by Ecotourism Greece. The estate recycles its wastewater, uses solar power for outdoor lighting and water heating, and relies on natural green olive soap for cleaning and laundry. Its catering partner champions local Naxian produce, avoids single-use plastics and can create beautiful vegetarian and vegan menus. Food leftovers are even enjoyed by the property's donkeys and chickens.
The experience can be personalised with additional touches such as picnics among the ancient olive groves, olive oil tastings and bespoke wine labels for your wedding wine. And for something truly memorable, the resident donkeys can even make an appearance during your ceremony.
Located just 10km from Naxos Town and 7km from Naxos Airport, Kambones combines history, privacy, natural beauty and sustainability to create a genuinely unique wedding experience.
What we love:
Kambones has an authentic, secluded and wonderfully romantic atmosphere. From its historic architecture and breathtaking Cycladic views to its sustainable ethos and unique experiences, it feels like a hidden wedding gem — a place where you can truly escape from everyday life and celebrate somewhere extraordinary.
